Google chrome message — "Danger: Malware ahead"

  • Unknown's avatar

When I logged in my site this evening to work on tomorrow’s post, I opened my wordpress account and then tried to open my site in a separate browser. Instead of pulling up my page, my Google Chrome browser window gave me the following message:

    Danger: Malware Ahead!
Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on donordreams.wordpress.com.
Content from http://www.turtok.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.
Malware is malicious software that causes things like identity theft, financial loss, and permanent file deletion

I clicked some of the links. I followed some of their directions telling me to add some code to my site from Google Webmaster Tools. After trying to do so, it didn’t seem to make a difference.

I’m obviously freaked out. Please help!

I should add that I just found a few other posts like mine on the support boards. I’ve read those responses and will need more simple step-by-step instructions than the ones I’ve read. I am not a techie and deleting or adding code is a little daunting (nor do I even know how to access that part of my site).

    Happiness Engineers. PLEASE HELP!!!
