Google Cloud Maps API Key

    Hello,

    We are having some diffulties with Google Cloud billing/maps at the moment. We’ve been using the Woo Delivery Areas Pro plugin for more than 2 years now, and just last week we had our connected map break down and an error message crop up regarding our ‘Cloud Billing Account.’ We have managed to resolve the cloud billing issue (for now) but now.

    A new API key was created within the project. When we paste this back onto our site, we get the following error message, ‘Browser API keys cannot have referer restrictions when used with this API’ we remove the restrictions, and this now works, but we do not want to use the key without restrictions or parameters. Please advise on what the best practice is in this scenario, we have also been advised to generate a new API key that is server-specific but not sure if this is required…

    It sounds like you need help with the WooCommerce plugin but have landed on the support forum for WordPress.com sites instead.
