  Hello there!

  It sounds as if perhaps you’re attempting to add Google mail to your WordPress.com account. If that’s the case, you’ll actually want to follow the instructions here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-email-through-google-apps/

  Could you let me know if this is what you’re already attempting? Or are you trying another method?
