google docs for wordpress
-
Hi i’m trying to add wordpress to my google docs but when google is trying to link to wordpress it keeps saying We can’t connect WordPress.com for Google Docs because you have no WordPress.com sites.

Hi there,
I’m guessing you have a self hosted WordPress site. Do you have Jetpack installed?

Self hosted means you are using WordPress software (known as WordPress.org) on some other host, like BlueHost instead of hosting your site on WordPress.com.
You can visit this page to learn about differences : https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As for your problem with Google Docs, you will need to start by installing Jetpack plugin (in case you don’t have it already).
Please follow the instructions from this page: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/Once you have your Jetpack installed and connected to a WordPress.com account, make sure the Jetpack Manage module is enabled (see here for details: https://jetpack.com/support/site-management/).
After that you will be able to sign in to the app using the WordPress.com account Jetpack is connected to, and you can find your self-hosted site under the “My Sites” section.
For more details about installing and using WordPress.com for Google Doc app see here : https://apps.wordpress.com/support/#faq-googledocs
If you still experience problems with your app you can get help at Jetpack Support – https://jetpack.com/support/
Hope this helps!
