Google Domains transfer

  Jetpack is offering a free add-on year to domains transferred from Google Domains to WordPress.com.

  But I can’t find a single doc page on the capabilities of WordPress.com.

  For example, I need to see how WordPress.com handles dynamic DNS and if and how it allows users to manage custom records and/or specific other DNS servers.

  IOW, is WordPress.com a full-featured registrar or is it focused only on WordPress hosting.

  My impression is that it’s the latter since I can’t find anything detailed about it registry services.

  If you have a link to full doc on the registry services, I’d appreciate it.

  You can definitely manage your domain’s DNS records and use an external host with your domain. You don’t have to use WordPress.com just because your domain is registered with us.
