google drive embed docs limit error
-
Hi There folks
struggling with an issue, i have blogs with embedded docs and power points and PDF’s from google drive, the embed system convert works great to embed them, but have now started getting the following error appearing when bringing up the pages
“You’ve reached the bandwidth limit for viewing or downloading files that aren’t in Google Docs format. Please try again later.
You can also try to download the original document by clicking here.”you can not download the doc either, everything was working fine until yesterday, and I am certain the stream limit of 1250mb per day is not being hit
I have read about “cookies” and various things, but can not find the solution, so am asking for help
as a note, if i sign into google from any account (associated with the files or not) on a different tab I am able to view the documents, as are others.
Could this be a google change to encourage people to sign into their systems, if it is, it certainly means that the google drive platform for cloud hosting files is taking a really backward step in the battle against “one drive” after they recently removed the feature of “embedding google drive created docs”, whilst “hosted uploaded files” can still be embedded
any help most kindly appreciated
