Google fonts
-
Hello, in an older and closed entry I found this information:
All requests to serve Google Fonts used in WordPress.com themes are served through WordPress.com’s servers and no longer use Google’s CDN/FDN.
This change was made in December 2022.
Is this true or not? I asked some weeks ago and got the answer, that google fonts were still loading from the google server (except for some new themes).
Thanks in advanve! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Many thanks @staartmees! :)
@pittalexandra It looks like there was some confusion in your support history there. As above, the latest information sen here: https://wordpress.com/support/your-site-and-the-gdpr/#i-need-to-not-serve-google-fonts-through-their-cdn-fdn is the latest information to go by.
That’s to say that Google Fonts used in WordPress.com themes are served through WordPress.com’s servers and no longer use Google’s CDN/FDN.
I hope this helps!
