  Forms are not being added to my site at all, they get changed to google apps code and they don’t work

  I don’t think you can use iframe code with the regular WordPress accounts. To get it to work you need to have a plugin. With the HTML block, you can only use plain text.

  WordPress.com has a free add-on for Google Docs – https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-com-add-on-for-google-docs/

  But you don’t need Google Forms as wordpress.com has its own Form Block – https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/form-block/
