Google hasn't indexed many pages of my blog.

    I can’t seem to find my blog links on google.
    The blog I need help with is http://www.youngadultfictionblog.com

    I have been writing on wordpress for well over a year now, but only recently have found out that not many on my pages are getting through to google. I’m worried about broken links, if I have any. I put my website address into google.com and it comes up with a couple of my links then the rest are outgoing links on my facebook page and then I cannot seem to find the rest of my pages.

    I have set up a sitemap with Google and all that is coming up with is General HTTP error: 404 not found. So now I am worrying. Please help.

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every post and page update. However, search engines can take time to update their search results. However, you don’t need to worry about creating a site index. You can read more about that here:

    Can you try setting up your site with Google Webmaster Tools as described here?

    That will help to uncover any errors on your site. Also, can you upload a screenshot of the HTTP error you’re receiving to your Media Library so I can take a look?
