  My blog, richardarunachala.wordpress.com has google search traffic drop by about 3/4 starting on 6 June 2014. Did they do something different with how WordPress is ranked in general at this time? Is there anything I can do now to improve?

  I would guess this has something to do with the Panda 4 update:
  Panda 4.0 — May 19, 2014
  Google confirmed a major Panda update that likely included both an algorithm update and a data refresh,

  This would have been their first refresh of my site after the Panda update.

  Hi Richard,

  You’re correct – this is likely due to the Panda 4.0 update you mention. Unfortunately, we don’t have any control over how your site appears in Google search results. As of right now, it doesn’t appear that there is anything directly that you can do to improve your Google standing. However, the update seemed to be targeted at reducing spam so ensuring the quality of links both on and to your site may help!
