Google Image Search hotlinking
-
Hello,
We have seen that there are now plugins for wordpress.org such as:
which more or less stop google image search hot-linking images and encourages people that found images via google search to actually click and go to the source – i.e. a wordpress.com blog, to view the image..
Will there be such a feature for wordpress.com at some point as this would significantly change the number of views image based blogs would get, rightfully so?
thanks,
TomThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey Tom,
So far, no plans to add this to WordPress.com sites. If you’re interested in it, you can add your suggestion here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideasIf the tool is vital to your site, you may wish to self-host a WordPress.org site, instead of hosting here at WordPress.com. If you aren’t yet familiar with self-hosting, here’s some more information for you:
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!
