Google images and panorama images

  I have all of a sudden been inundated with people coming to my site from google images. A few days ago I had never had google images as a referrer but now it is about 80% of my hits. Obviously I’m not complaining but can anyone explain what has happened?
  Also does anyone know any free software to panoramify ones pics?
