Google Indexing Issue

    Hi Community,

    Having some issues regarding Google indexing my website. I use Jetpack as part of my subscription. I went into the Google Search Console for something else and noticed on the overview page that 283,616 pages were not indexed and 23,399 pages were indexed. Alarm bells rang as I should 640 ‘static’ pages, 9,172 posts, and also forum pages of a similar number.

    Some of the pages I do not recognise, see Pic 03.

    Really not sure what is going on, so some help would be appreciated.

    1. Google states all the URLs in the ‘Not found (404) row cannot be found, although click on the referring page Google uses and they can be found! They are all live pages.

    2. The row with ‘Page with redirect’, Google states “No referring sitemaps detected” and no referring page. Once again they are live pages and clicking on the URL takes you to the said page.

    3. All the pages in the row Soft 404 and below are related to the spam ‘To66.Asia’ pages (Pic 03).

    Hey there @ahp74, I see a lot of questions here. We’d like to tackle the spammy URL issue first since that may well be affecting the rest. We’re going to move this to an email-based ticket so you can share a few of the spam URLs as text (without then boosting them through our forums.) Thank you!
