Google indexing issues

  I learned from Google that most of my pages are not being indexed. This is described mainly as ‘Discovered — not indexed’ or ‘Crawled — not indexed’. How do I get indexed? The number of pages is well over 300, so is there a way to request indexing for all as a group? Any help is appreciated.
