Google is threatening to shut down WP site???

  My client is getting threatening calls from Google saying they are going to close down her WordPress site(artisanaeva.com). She has a gmail account but it’s not the email account on the blog.

  Why would Google have anything to do with her WP site? What’s the connection? Does anybody know what is going on???

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There shouldn’t be a connection, and there are no issues that I can see with the site on the WordPress side. I recommend you get in touch with the person who called your client who claims to be from Google and ask for details.

  Where did she register the domain name? If it’s registered here it shouldn’t be an issue.

  I’ve literally never head of Google phoning anyone. Sounds like some weird spam thing.

  May I also suggest that you remove the phone number and email address on your client’s site and replace it with a WordPress.com contact form. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/
