google isn't verifying my DNS configuration

  I have tried copying and pasting the verification link on the “verification pages” on a number of different times.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I see the problem. You have some extra words before your Google verification code.

  Go back to this page

  https://01581family.wordpress.com/wp-admin/tools.php

  and remove this from the front of the code:

  google-site-verification=

  If that doesn’t work, let me know. The code in the box doesn’t quite match the expected format, so it may be that there is another code on the page you need to use instead.

  That was a great idea. It still didn’t verify, though. Any other ideas?

  Ok, the problem is you have the wrong code then. Here’s the part of the instructions you need

  It looks like step 4 is where things went wrong. If you could check your google page again, find the right code and paste it in the box instead of what you have now it will work better.
