Google Maps in Sidebar

  Hi,

  I have been trying to find out if it is possible to add a google map to the sidebar of my blog.

  I found some information that said you could put a map into a post but not into the sidebar, but as far as I could tell this was the situation in 2008 and perhaps things have changed…

  I see a Google mao in the sidebar of the blog linked to your username, so you have resolved this issue. :)

  Yea, it’s not really what I wanted. I’ve put a picture of my google map with a link attached. It would be nice to have a fully functional map in the sidebar.

  I think this might answer your question : http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/ since it talks about embedding google maps in your WordPress blog.

  Unfortunately it also mentions that you cannot embed it in the sidebar. But it is worth a look!
