  I want to add a Google meta tag and I keep seeing to go to header.php and put the HTML there but I dont know where header.php is help please?????????

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi. The instructions you are seeing refer to the self-hosted version of WordPress, which works differently from WordPress.com. We can’t edit “header.php” here.

  If you tell us what kind of Google meta tag you wanted to insert, we can perhaps provide you with a relevant explanation or solution.

  I have a self hosted site and I need to insert a meta tag into my header or upload a html to my root directory (for Norton’s) I can’t figure it out either?

  @australianfireandfirstaid, sorry, you need to head over to the WordPress.org forums as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

  These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.
