Google mobile issues (Oxygen)

    Dear all:

Recently I have received two Google Search Console alerts warning me about some mobile issues.

One of them points to my AMP pages (I have just a few, since the bulk of my site are pages) and says that the size of the images is “too small”.

The other alert, which I received just yesterday, refers to “mobile usability” issues (it doesn’t say that it involves just the AMP pages) and points that the text is too small and that the elements you can click are too close to each other.

I use a standard Oxygen theme and I’m not sure what to do with all this.

Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    I also receive these error.

    Will they be being addressed?

My first instinct was to find an alternative theme.

Hi, Mike. My first impression is that Google is not going to take immediate penalty measures because of these issues.. It seems to me that for the moment its goal is to let us know what are the guidelines that we should follow in order to optimize usability.

I’d prefer not to think about the work that would require to change the theme ! Perhaps the themes themselves should be adjusted to the new usability conditions.
