Google not pulling meta title and description

  Google shows wrong title and no description at all in its search result. I have read dozens of article that say that Google may decide to change the title and description but in my case Google decides not to show a description at all, which is really weird… I have tried several times in these past 2 weeks to re-index/fetch the home page but nothing seems to happen.
