Google photos issue

    Google Photos has worked fine for me to upload from for quite a while, but in the last few weeks have had an increasing problem with it. Today I couldn’t upload any photos despite numerous tries.

    When my google photos appears on the ‘select media screen’ either one of two things happens….I can select a photo in the default ‘photos’ section, but when I open albums I cannot select an album to open it; the cursor doesn’t change and nothing can be highlighted. Sometimes the same issue arises both in photos and in albums, and I can’t select anything. I’ve disconnected Google Photos a couple times from WordPress but that hasn’t helped. Ideas?

    I’ve been having the same problem for a few weeks. I can access my main Photos section, but not the album I set up to put my blog photos specifically. And I have also disconnected and reconnected multiple times. I’m having to download to my computer from google and upload them to my media library. It doesn’t take long, but is definitely extra steps that didn’t used to be necessary.

    I’m getting the same thing – up until October 2024 it worked fine, but now I can’t go into an album to select photos. I can select photos not in an album, but clicking on an Album doesn’t do anything. So frustrating.

    Also having this problem and it’s adding a ton more time to each post. Has anyone had any luck getting it to work?
