Google Plus suddenly not sharing publicly

  Hi, I only just noticed that my WordPress.com posts are not sharing publicly to Google+. Sometime late last year this changed, and I don’t particularly recall making any alterations to my Google+ or Publicize settings.

  How do I get Publicize to start sharing my posts publicly again, and is there a way to reshare the posts that got privately posted?

  Hi Chris,

  Please click on My Sites > Sharing. Find Google+ in the list. Is the button showing an error message of any kind? Like Reconnect for example? If so, make sure you reconnect it.

  Hi, thank you for the response!

  I got it fixed. It looked fine under My Sites > Sharing, so I tried disconnecting, then reconnecting. Seems to be working again.

  I’m thinking I need to keep an eye on it, now, since I don’t know what triggered the privacy change.

  That’s great!

  I think that’s a good idea. It happened to me too once (but on the Facebook connector),so I’m checking in now and then to make sure it’s still working.
