Google publicize connection is broken
-
In the List of connections in my wordpress.com account Google+ is missing. Twitter, facebook, etc. are still there.
In the Sharing Setting in WordPress backend of the homepage the following error is shown for Google+.
Connected as: Pinky-Club (Shared) ×
Jetpack: [failed_publicize_action] Invalid Publicize IDThere is a button below the Message ‘Refresh connection with Google+’.
Pushing this button or the ‘Add new’ button redirects to this url ‘https://public-api.wordpress.com/connect/?disabled’ wich contains the following message:Connection Disabled
Sorry, this connection option is temporarily unavailable while we work with our partner to restore service.
<Close Window>I also tried to remove the connection. But after clicking the x and confirming that I am sure, the connection is still there.
Facebook works fine. I don’t know what to do, to make the Google+ connection work again.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi everyone,
A few weeks ago Google made a change that now makes it impossible to change the audience of posts shared via Publicize. So, if you were to connect your Google+ account, any posts that were shared automatically to Google+ would be visible only to you, with absolutely no way to change it so people in your circles can see it.
Because of this we have decided to disable all new Google+ connections. Existing connections should still work as before, but until Google changes things so this setting can be changed again there is no value in posting to Google+, as only you will be able to see your posts.
For now, if you want your posts to appear on Google+ you will need to share them manually using a sharing button on your site, or by posting the link directly into Google+ after you’ve published a post.
We know this is frustrating, but this is a decision Google made and at the moment they are not offering any other options that we can use to make this feature work.

Hi there,
I just want to let you know that the Google+ connection has been re-enabled in Publicize.
In the past few weeks, we’ve worked with Google+ to start using a new API. That API works just like the old one, with one exception: publicized posts are now public. You can’t change the visibility of publicized posts to “My Circles”, or anything else.
You can find instructions on how to create a new connection with Google+ here:
