    I know that WordPress have absolve responsibility for Google Search pages BUT…

    In order to claim you site you need to post a meta tag or a HTML file. Neither of which you can do using wordpress.com

    How do I have Google include my weblog?

    The only other way I can think of is to pump the web with links to my weblogs..

    Surely WordPress can provide an option were Meta Data can be recorded. and I can then claim my blog

    Your information is incorrect. You can go ahead and register with Google Blogsearch. As for the regular Google search, just wait and it will find you. Linkspamming is going to get you downgraded, not upgraded.

    The fastest I’ve seen Google index a WP.com site was fifteen minutes after creation, but it can take up to several weeks. The more you link out, the more Google spiders you will “draw” to your site.
