I was wondering if searching the word “birdie” in Google would take you to my blog (http://madeleinerex.com), as my mom calls me that in a comment. Would it?

I did. I’m not finding anything. I was just wondering if, on principle, words from your posts would help in searches. I recently edited one of my pages to mention it as well.

If you want to google for that word, you need to use it more than twice. Use it in posts, in tags or categories (eg tag every post about yourself with that name), use it in titles. Then it will start to show up. It takes a lot of posts to get Google’s attention and high rank.

Haha… yeah, that might be an issue as I can’t seem to understand the concept of tags… or how to use them. ( :
