Google Search Console & AdSense Verification Not Working ( Issue with WP )

    Hi everyone,

    I’m having trouble getting my WordPress site verified with Google Search Console and AdSense. I added the verification meta tag code from Google into the <head> section of my header.php file, but GSC keeps saying it can’t find the verification code.

    Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

    • Pasted the meta tag in the <head> part of header.php in my active theme.
    • Cleared my site and browser cache.
    • Opened the source code of the live site, and the tag seems to be there.
    • Tried verifying again in Google Search Console – still not found.
    • Even created another Google account, added the site, and tried verifying from there – same issue.
    • Also tried placing AdSense verification code, and that also doesn’t get detected.

    So I’m starting to think maybe there’s something wrong with my WordPress setup? Maybe a plugin or theme issue? Has anyone faced this problem before or has any suggestions?

    Any help would be really appreciated!

    We can’t help with third party plugins. You must take a look in the documentation of the Google Search Console en Adsense to solve this problem yourself.
