Google Search Console redirect issue
-
Hello! So recently I’ve verified my wordpress account with Google Search Console in hopes of improving my SEO practices. I noticed however none of my pages were being indexed and that there were ‘redirect issues’. A couple months ago I had changed my url from fanfirst.home.blog to fanfirstreviews.home.blog so I’m guessing this is where the issue lies? I’m not really sure what changes or fixes I need to do so I can fix this redirect issue…Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Hi there,
We are not in control of what Google does on their end, and are not expert in Google Search Console, so I’m not sure how you would address this on our end exactly.
As a first step, I recommend trying Google Search Console support and see if you can find more info on how to correct this on their end: https://support.google.com/webmasters
I could see the case where your site address change might be an issue, however. Without the ability to see within Google Search Console this is only a guess but I should point out that we do not redirect your old address to the new one. If Google has indexed your site under the old URL you may be able to update that over there (which is why I recommend contacting them for more info) but also you can add a redirect here, which may help: https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
Let us know if you need further assistance or if you have any questions.
