Google Search Console set up

  Hello. I am an aspiring digital marketer and I set up this site to play around with some tools such as search console, adwords etc. Is it not possible to use such tools with a free site or do I need a paid plan? I tried uploading the file and that didn’t work, and I also tried uploading the HTML into the footer and that didn’t work. These are the two recommended methods for search console. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You could use the Search Block tool to search posts and pages on your site.
