    why doesn’t my blog appear when I typed my blog name in the google search engine? it only appears when I type the URL.

    Hi there,

    It may take 4-6 weeks for google to index your site. Before this, your blog will not appear if you just type its name.

    To get indexed faster, and to get more traffic:
    One way is to use a mix of appropriate broad and specific tags. For example, if your site is about reviewing books, you might create a tag ‘book reviews’, but also a more specific tag ‘book review about [book title]’. Someone who wants to find a book to read might type in ‘book reviews’ to Google, so might find your site. Someone who wanted to know whether a certain book was what they wanted might type in ‘reviews about [book title]’, which is why the more specific tags are helpful. If you wanted to appear on the WordPress reader, make sure not to use more than 15 tags and categories combined; if there are any more, the Reader won’t index your site.     It’s also an idea to use keywords. For example, if your blog was a book review blog, use keywords such as the book’s title or themes within it. Make sure it doesn’t turn into ‘keyword stuffing’, though; if you use so many keywords that the sentences become unnatural, this could affect your site negatively.
    It’s important to keep posting. Search engines like it when blogs are being updated regularly.
