Google search keeps linking to old blog post URL that doesn't exist anymore
-
When you type “shojo manganime” into google search, you get my old wordpress blog. the thing is, i changed the URL and moved all the posts to my new one. It’s still wordpress, though.
but when i type in some key words from my posts (which are now in shoujo1daisuki) in google, what appears is not shoujo1daisuki.wordpress.com/postnameblahblah but shojomanganime.wordpress.com/postnameblahblah. then when i click the shojomanganime link, it goes to page not found.
so basically, people will go to my old blog because of a google search and find “page not found” and then completely neglect to visit the new one, which is exactly the same, just with a different address.how do i fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It can take 3-6 months, to even possibly a year for search results on closed sites to stop showing up in search engines. You can purchase the site redirect upgrade and redirect all traffic to the new site, but it will still take time for the search engines to get everything switched over to the new site.
If you have a google webmaster tools account, you can use their URL removal tool, but you would have to submit each and every single post, page, category and tag URL to them, and even then, there is no guarantee that they will remove the URL.
The site redirect would probably be the better option, but there is of course a cost involved.
