Google Search Results

I recently discovered that when you google search “Dramaless Food” (note the space) different pages of my blog (and my blog before I transitioned to self-hosting) appear rather than the home page for my site. This problem doesn’t exist when Bing or Yahoo are indexing my site though. Any thoughts on what I may be missing?

Since you deleted your old site here you are stuck until all the search engines update their listings – – had you not deleted the site here you could have purchased the Site Redirect upgrade that would have sent all the traffic to your new self hosted site – that would have taught search engines that you had moved and sent any traffic from old links also to your new site
At some unknown point in the future your old site will go down in the search results – most search engines I am told update their indexing in around 3 months or so

It will take about 6- 12 weeks for indexed content to be re-indexed if you have a lot of content. If you want to know the factors that expedite that scroll down to Is there anything that will expedite the search engine indexing process? at https://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2010/01/21/omg-i-cant-find-my-blog-on-google/ and take note of 5 and 6.
