  Hi there,

  I want to change my meta tag on google for my site. At the moment when i search my site it comes up with “House of Hart | house of hart baby clothes perth boys girls” and i want to change it….
  Do i need to upgrade to Custom Design? Or is there anyway i can do this?
  Any help would be much appreciated!

  Hello!

  You should change the tag line of your site here:
  https://houseofhart.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

  That is the tagline that will be indexed by Google to display when your pages turn up through a search.

  Hi there,

  Thanks for your fast response.
  It doesn’t seem to be working…
  I changed it a couple of weeks ago and it still has not changed.
  Any other advice?

  Hello there!

  I’m still not seeing a tagline saved on your site. Could you take a look at this link:

  https://houseofhart.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?return=%2Fwp-admin%2F

  Click Site Title. Add the tagline you want to be displayed by Google. Then click Save.

  Again, it could take some time for this new information to be indexed by Google. However, once it’s seen, it will display properly during web searches.

  One thing you might also consider is using Google’s Webmaster Tools:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#google-webmaster-tools
