Google Title not the Same as Post Title

  I wrote a post a few days ago and googled it today to see where it was in the results. It was on the first page but instead of saying “post title – blog title” it says “blog title – blog tagline”.

  I understand that google sometimes changes the post title, but wouldn’t it be better for searchers to see the post title instead of my blog name?

  It’s not a big deal, but I’d like to fix it if I can.

  I’m using the Yoast plugin, but haven’t had this problem with it before.

  The post shows the correct title at the top of the browser when I’m on it.

  Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

  This forum is for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum
  http://wordpress.org/support/
