Google Verification
-
I keep having my verification fail when I am trying to verify my blog on my google analytics dashboard. I am putting it in the right place in the WordPress settings…totally stumped as to what I’m doing wrong.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @summervillerealestate, can paste the full meta link into the tools section? Right now you left out the part with “meta” and what not. Paste the full tag into our tools section, and let me know if that helps.

Thank you, but I do put that part in but when I click “Save changes” it takes it out. Then when I click on the page they gave me to confirm the submission: [redacted]
It says “oops page not found” and site failed to verify. I promise I’m copying the whole line into the space on the wordpress area. I can’t figure out what is happening wrong. Thank you for trying to help!

Hmm, that still doesn’t look right. Are you selecting Alternate Methods: HTML Tag? Your code should look something like this:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="rc2RXSkjV5rz9P2s2hTwdDsnwTu4tD-gmruKUrqBGjs" /> -
