Google verification

I am reading the instructions for Google verification of the website and have to upload a page. Can’t do that on our wordpress site. So then found instructions for the SEO on wordpress. But that option is not available. We do have a paid site and the plugins list says it’s active – but when I go to the menu, it’s not available. Ideas?

Well, two things to update. For one, the blog I need help with is http://carmeliteinstituteofspirituality.com That other one went in as an “auto-fill”
For two, we don’t have a business plan, so that’s why I don’t have access to SEO.

Hi @renepeterson, you should still be able to enter the settings there unless the site is private. The business plan just gives you extra settings you can use, but the Site Verification stuff should still all work. Can you confirm whether that’s giving you trouble?

The site is not private. I am trying to follow the steps at the http: you listed, but none of those options are on my website.
There is no access to SEO. The directions given do not match the options on my website.
