Google Verify Page

  With my WordPress.com blog, I’m looking to verify my Google+ page (for the site).

  “By adding a short line of code to http://www.oneroomwithaview.com, you can make your Google+ page eligible to show up on the right hand side of the Google search page for relevant queries and make your Google+ page more discoverable.”

  It says I have to verify it through adding a line of code, but I’m not sure how to go about it? Is it possible to edit the code if on a basic WordPress?

  Hey David,

  Currently, that method of Google verification isn’t supported at WordPress.com as WordPress.com users are not provided access to the code files necessary for that method. However, currently, you can connect your Google Plus profile following the instructions here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-plus-profile/

  Please note, this only supports personal profiles at the moment (not business pages). We’ll be looking to add integration support for Google Plus business pages as soon as it’s supported by Google!
