Hi there. You’ll need to contact Google support about this. WordPress.com has no control over what Google does.

Any other ideas or experiences from wp or wp bloggers?
I have had bad luck dealing with google and suppport in the past.
we do have verification method that worked fine in the past…

WordPress.com allows you to verify your site with Webmaster Tools, but Webmaster Tools itself is a Google product, so if it’s not working Google has to fix it.
I’ll tag this for staff to follow up, in case there’s anything they can do from this side. Please be patient while waiting for their reply.

Hi there,
I took a look at your blog and don’t see anything from our end that would be causing problems. (If you changed your blog’s Privacy Settings to block search engines that could cause problems for Google, but I see that your site is completely public.)
Since Google says the site is still being crawled, I don’t think there’s anything more I can do to help from this end. If there’s a problem with the Webmaster tools themselves, Google would need to investigate that on their end.

Hi dlager,
we do have verification method that worked fine in the past…
https://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/The verification method is for letting Google know that you own the site you’re adding in Google Webmaster Tools. If you’ve already done it once, it shouldn’t need to be done again.
its still says its being crawed, both for normal and mobile sitemaps.
When was the last time that you submitted your sitemap?

@rwaynick
WordPress.com submits our sitemaps to Google automatically every time we update or delete a post or page, whether or not our sites are verified with Webmaster Tools: https://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/#xml-sitemaps-for-search-engines -
Hi kokkieh,
Thanks for clarifying, and providing the link.
I was referring to adding and submitting the Sitemap URL inside of Google Webmaster Tools.
This would allow @dlager to see stats on pages have been Submitted vs Indexed, and if there are any errors or warnings.
I’m not sure if this will solve the issue, but it might point @dlager in the right direction.
