google webmasters tools- Blocked Resources

  Hi
  over all of my sites – in the “Blocked Resources” (google webmasters tools) i found Pages with blocked resources from https://s.pubmine.com (as the host domain).
  What is this and how can i fix it ?

  Hi Orit, sorry your question was overlooked.

  My thought is that even when a WordPressdotcom site is Public there are areas (like the dashboard) that are not available to bots via the robots.txt file. If I have a chance I’ll try to dig a bit deeper. Otherwise, you might want to have a look at the Help section on Google Search Console.

  as i understand from the Help Center, The head.js file from pubmine is the script that loads the ads .
  i’m not sure if it will right to unblock it or not – for the sites seo matters.

  Good morning – I’ll tag this for Staff input about unblocking that subdirectory/script, but my feeling is they won’t be unblocked.

  Is there a particular WordPressdotcom site you’ve set up that isn’t getting good search engine results? If so, please share the URL. WordPressdotcom sites are generally SEO friendly right out of the box.

  Hi there,

  You can ignore that warning in Search Console. Pubmine is one of the services we use to serve ads on your site, and we don’t want those ads to be indexed by Google as part of your site so we block Google from indexing them. Google doesn’t like it if it doesn’t have access to everything on your site so it tells you it’s an error, but it really isn’t.

  All your content, so everything you actually want to be indexed by Google, is discoverable to them.
