Google won’t index my site

  help! Google doesn’t seem to be indexing my site. I have Yoast and I’ve been doing everything I’m supposed to do but it won’t show on google unless the domain is typed in. My hosting company (host gator) said to contact you.

  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  Hi @studiojamesphotography,

  Hmm, I’m not sure why HostGator advised you to contact WordPress.com regarding your site not being indexed by Google. This is either a matter with your site setup, or the Yoast plugin.

  While your site is Jetpack-connected, I’m afraid that we can’t help directly because your studiojamesphotography.com site is not hosted with WordPress.com. In turn, we’re unable to take a closer look at your site.

  The good news though is that help is available in the WordPress.org forums:
