GoogleNews stopped crawling? Weird problem…

  Hey everyone,

  GoogleNews was crawling my site, midweekwire.com. We are a small community newspaper (yes, it’s news/features…none of it is opinion and it is a real physical newspaper, as well). Suddenly, they stopped and I didn’t know why so I emailed the helpdesk there and got this:

  Hi XXX,

  Thank you for your note. It looks like your host is having issues providing reliable responses to Googlebot. Please check with your website systems administrator to make sure that you have sufficient bandwidth and capacity to handle traffic from Google.

  Now, I am not a particularly tech-savvy guy, but does this mean I need to purchase more bandwith from wordpress to get this going? Or what should I do? We were getting a LOT more hits post registering with googlenews.
