Goran theme different on server

    Hi, I recently installed the Goran theme on my wordpress.com site and it’s great! But today I installed wordpress on an ftp server linked to my personal domain and the Goran theme is not the same any more. Some features seem to have changed or disappeared. I am not able to upload a site logo, I can’t chose a color palette and the grid page is acting weird. Hopefully you guys can help me to fix these issues. I really don’t understand why the theme is not acting the same way as on the other domain. Thanks! Grtz Demelza

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    While you will find many themes with the same name on both platforms, the way those themes work, the way they are coded, are also completely different and a theme on .org may not have the same features as that same theme on .com. The Site Logo feature, for example, is specifically something that was introduced on the WordPress.com platform – it’s not something that is natively part of the theme.

    For help with customizing the theme on your self-hosted site you’ll need to post in the WordPress.org support forum, as on this forum we can only help you with your free WordPress.com blog. You can find the .org forum here: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.
