Goran Theme front page not displaying properly

  Hi! I’ve been having a problem getting the front page to show page names in the site name area at the top of the page. In the demo, they are on the top right. They used to be there but disappeared while I was editing a few things. Anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it?
  Also does anyone know if it is possible to have a logo instead of text over the featured image on the front page? I know some themes have that option but I can’t seem to find if this theme can. Thanks!

  I am following this – have same problem with this and the Edon theme and unfortunately can’t find my old theme to change back to. Good Luck!

  Goran supports the Site Logo feature, as you can see in the theme’s full setup guide.

  Goran supports the Site Logo feature. To brand your site and include your business logo, navigate to Customize → Site Title and upload a logo image in the space provided.

  I’ve been having a problem getting the front page to show page names in the site name area at the top of the page.

  You’ll need to set up a custom menu following the guide. If you have any trouble with it, just let me know where you’re getting stuck.

  Your background image, which seems to be a screen shot from the Goran theme support page, is too small. That apparently causes a red default background color to display. You evidently haven’t published any posts. However, you do have an About page.

  The featured image of the Front Page Template serves as a background image in the Goran theme. Here’s the featured image of your static front page: https://mevansstories.files.wordpress.com/2015/01/ap-wordpress-theme-screenshot.png for the Front Page template. Its size is 434 X 326 pixels. Meanwhile the Goran theme support page says,

  Featured Images for pages are 1230 wide by 1230 high.

  That suggests that the size of any image used to create the Featured Image (background) for the Front Page template should be at least 1230 pixels wide.

  Margaret – just echoing what musicdoc1 said, deleting a site is usually a real last resort, especially since you can never reuse the address again. In future do feel free to ask for more help and we’ll be glad to guide you. :-)
