Goran Theme – Reduce Front Page Text Area & Increase Gallery Widget Size

    I am new to WordPress and I am currently working with the Goran Theme. I have customized the site to match my clients color scheme but would like to remove the area for the Front Page body text. It is a large area that is colored and I would like to reduce it. How can I go about this?

    Also, I have incorporated widget galleries on my Front Page but would like to increase the size of the images shown. How can I increase the size of these images so that they are more readable?

    Also, is it possible to incorporate an overall portfolio into this theme? I would like to have my portfolio page to show the projects in categories rather than galleries.

    I’ll answer your questions in batches.

    Give this a try to reduce the top and bottom padding in the green “hero” area on the front page:

    body[class*="front-page"] .hero {
     padding-bottom: 10px;
     padding-top: 20px;
}

    Adjust the top and bottom values as you’d like.

    Looiks like you’ve figured out how to do add a portfolio to your site — your automatically generated portfolio is displayed here: https://baughflooring.com/portfolio/

    If you’d like to display portfolio projects in different ways, you could explore adding project tags and types, and/or look at manually adding the portfolio shortcode to pages.

    There isn’t an easy way to do that. If you removed one photo in each gallery the size of each would increase. You could also try regular tiles (instead of squares) and see if that gives you something bigger.
