Got billed unexpectedly!

  Please give me a phone number or something. I was charged on my credit card for a site I no longer use and can’t find anyway to get help.

  I can help :) We need to track down the correct account though. The one that you’re signed in with does not have a history of any charges made to it.

  Can you tell me the site address associated with the charge?

  I have an old blog that I haven’t added to in a long time. It is at https://homespunhallelujahs.wordpress.com/ I find that I can no longer get into it as admin. Could that be the account where the billing would show?

  Yes, it looks like there was a recent upgrade renewal for that site.

  So, you have a couple options to get a refund on that purchase.

  1. Regain access to the user account that owns https://homespunhallelujahs.wordpress.com/. The lost password tool: http://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and the account recovery system may be helpful: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

  2. Use the “Why was I charged?” system that was mentioned in a previous reply: https://wpchrg.wordpress.com This situation is exactly why that system was created.
