  I have purchased a Domain and now want to build a site. Its a Google domain.

  You will need the Domain Mapping upgrade to use your domain with a WordPress.com site. Domain Mapping is included in all WordPress.com paid plans:

  Once you have purchased a plan, here is a support document that will explain how to set up Domain Mapping with your domain:
