Got the free domain, but paid for the upgraded one

    I signed up for a domain name for $18/month and then when my blog was created it came up as a wordpress.com. I paid for the security so I’m not paying again. I want it fixed and I’m kind of angry because I can’t seem to find someone to help me out immediately. I don’t pay for something and then just don’t get it.

    There is no domain mapping upgrade for politicalwright.com. If you would like to use this domain you will first need to set up domain mapping. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

    After you make the domain mapping purchase here > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades and do the primary domain set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient. Note that it’s quite common for your own ISP to be last one to flush their DNS caches.
