  To join the Post a Day challenge, simply grab a badge for your blog and tag your posts with postaday.

  Those are the instructions–but how do I “grab a badge” and where do I put it?
  Be very simple, please. All these WordPress references constitute a foreign language for me.

  Normally one captures the image and uploads it into their Media Library. Then they display it in an image widget or a text widget in the sidebar of their blog.
