Grabbing a widget from Tweetspeak

I’m trying to grab a widget from Tweetspeak (it invites you to do so) which is powered by WordPress. There’s a block of code, and when I insert it into my widget area, it just stays code & doesn’t convert to words. It this something about code that I haven’t learned yet? I don’t really understand code at all. Any help available on this? Thanks so much.

As you did not post the code between code tags here I cannot examine it. Suffice to say that we have code restrictions for security reasons and if that is a code for WordPress.ORG sites then it will not work on a WordPress.COM hosted blog.
