Grace period for late domain renewal

  Hello, in another thread referenced below*, I saw that there is an 18 day grace period past the expiration date of of my domain.

  The domain expired on June 12.
  As of today (June 29), I am on day 17.
  However I see no “grace” option other than to pay the $80 fee to renew.

  Help please?

  I’m not sure why 18 days is stated in that thread. Perhaps a typo. As it says here:

  Domain Expiration

  …the grace period is between 10 and 14 days.
