Gradient over post´s featured picture

  Hello,

  I wanted to ask if there is a way how to remove a grey gradient that suddenly appeared over the area of a post´s featured image in the whole length of the page.

  When I created the posts, I added to each of them an individual picture in jpeg. The background was white at that time. Now the bacground goes grey to white upwards, dividing the picture area from text area in front end.
  Using a template twenty seventeen.

  Would appreciate any help, whether to use certain CSS or any other way.

  Bare in mind that if your websites uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, you should post in the self-hosted forums or alternatively contact your hosting provider. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  sorry, the problem is over the picture Aries (same as all the other sun signs)

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your theme developer.

  Whilst I’m here though, I did look at this issue and I think this CSS will solve the issue. To remove the gradient:

  .single-featured-image-header:after {
  background: none;
  }

  To remove the grey bits:

  .single-featured-image-header {
  background-color: transparent;
  }
